Great location near Chinatown, clean rooms, friendly staff, personalized departing gift, excellent customer service, felt safe, thick walls for minimal noise, reasonably priced mini bar.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Beautiful tourist attractions like australian museum were so close to the accommodation. Set only 200 metres away, Bay Hong is a wonderful place to eat nearby...

Lovely Stay
We had a fantastic stay at Cambridge Hotel in Sydney. The location was ideal, with Hyde Park just a short walk away, and St. Mary's Cathedral and the Australian Museum close by. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff at reception were friendly and helpful. We were pleased with the amenities provided, including the mini-bar fridge that was restocked daily. The attached restaurant served a good breakfast with plenty of choice, including a hot option. The hotel's proximity to Oxford Street meant we had easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. Despite a few minor maintenance issues and the occasional noise from neighboring rooms, our overall experience was highly enjoyable. We appreciated the free and accessible wifi during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant and convenient stay in Sydney.

Desk clerks were excellent, friendly, always ready to help. Room attendants did excellent job keeping clean. Location is near shopping, bus lines, train line, but off the beaten track just a bit.

What an excellent find this hotel was in the vibrant suburb of Surry Hills! The location was perfect, close to bus stops and the Museum railway station, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel itself had all the basic amenities I needed, including comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I also appreciated the value for money, with breakfast included in the rate.
Not a single thing to fault during my stay!

The hotel is well located being close to the entertainments and restaurants of Oxford Street, and in easy walking distance to the centre of the city and Central and Museum Railway stations. The room was spotlessly clean with everything I would expect from good hotel in Australia. The breakfast was good value for money. The staff were courteous and helpful.
The two lifts are small. The flat screen television in my room was affixed to the wall with a metal arm. The mechanism for adjusting the tilt was worn so the television was angled downward and could not be made to stay parallel to the wall.

This hotel offers great value for money and competitive prices. The attention to detail can be seen through the basic amenities provided in the rooms, including a separate living room and kitchen area. The location is perfect, close to bus stops and the Museum railway station, making it convenient for exploring the city on foot. Not to mention, the stunning views of the opera house from some of the rooms. Breakfast is also included in the rate, adding to the overall value of the stay.
All was satisfactory, no improvements needed.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Sydney and had a great experience. Firstly, the location was fantastic, set among residential towers with easy access to buses and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my basic amenities were well taken care of. The rooms were comfortable, with the spa bath being a heavenly touch. Additionally, the breakfast included rate was a great value for money.
Everything was just fine, no complaints.

Our room was lovely and spacious. It was tastefully designed with a pleasant colour scheme. The balcony was an added bonus.
.We were initially told the room was on one of the upper levels but in fact it was on level 4. The room was a little stuffy overnight and when we opened the balcony door to allow in some air it became quite noisy. We didn't find the bar or dining room very appealing and therefore chose to eat elsewhere.

This hotel is a fantastic base for exploring the city. It's located in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, public transport, and tourist sites. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have an impressive view over the city. The staff is friendly and always ready to help with any questions or concerns. In addition, the breakfast is delicious, and facilities such as the restaurant attached to the hotel are just a stone's throw away.
The hotel's Wi-Fi policy isn't entirely clear, and it might be a bit frustrating for guests who require it for an extended period.

The politness of the staff and their eye to detail, this included the desk staff and the catering staff
The noise level on 2nd floor throughout the night with other guests using the drink machine at 2200hrs, 0100hrs, 0200hrs, 0300hrs. And again at 0520hrs. Perhaps this machine could be relocated to the foyer. Noise seemed to echo in this area. This led to no sleep on both nights. I would be happy to stay again but on another floor and would recommend the Cambridge to others.
